Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James is approaching his 23rd NBA season, and for the first time, he is not the clear-cut first option because they have Luka Doncic, whom they acquired via trade last February.
Still, the four-time NBA champion remains one of the league’s best players at the age of 40, so much so that former Los Angeles Lakers forward Markieff Morris believes that James is not slowing down anytime soon.
“What’s he right now 41, 42? He for sure can play until 46,” Morris said about James on the Million Dollaz Worth of Game. “That’s for a fact, that’s factual. He’s 42 and he’s still having the best years of his career, at 42.”
“He could play until 46. I’d say another four years if he wanted to. He could play four more years if he wanted to. He’s playing now at such a high level and he’s the second-best player on the team, so he’s the focal point,” he reiterated.

It was rumored that the Golden State Warriors pursued a trade with the Los Angeles Lakers to acquire LeBron James, but insider Jovan Buha is not buying it.
“I would assume this came out from the Warriors’ side. They’ve had a rough summer. They have not been able to make any moves because of this Kuminga situation,” Buha said on his YouTube channel.
“It’s been drama-filled, but also stagnant at the same time… But it also benefits the Warriors to make their front office, their organization, look like they’re trying to do something,” he added.
