Fiancée of LA Lakers star Luka Doncic, Anamaria Goltes, recently shared a deeply personal health update on Instagram, revealing that she has lived with celiac disease since childhood.
In a rare public moment, outside of the fast-paced life of his fiancée, Luka Doncic, Goltes reposted a Slovenian podcast dedicated to those with the condition, where she revealed that she was diagnosed with the condition when she was four years old.
Fans perceived this as a moment of vulnerability, as this as a topic that not even the Lakers star has publicly discussed so far.
In an Instagram story, she shared a reel of a Slovenian podcast that has been closer to her heart than most others.
“The first podcast for people with celiac disease,” she wrote, reposting a snippet of the Slovenian podcast.
Over the weekend, Goltes sparked speculation with an Instagram Story featuring a brown “Mommy Bag” labeled “Hospital bag packed.” Online speculation immediately went to theorizing a new baby, but nothing from the couple has shown any confirmation that the new baby theories are correct.

Luka Doncic said the Lakers will focus on playing their style and communicating to smoothly integrate LeBron James back into the lineup, stressing that James’ experience after two decades in the league makes the transition manageable.
“Mostly like talking about. I mean, LeBron for his 21st season, I think it is. So he knows everything about it. But I think just play the way we play. I think everybody stepped up on the court, it showed today, like to allow 34 points in a half, it’s pretty incredible, and we gotta keep doing that,” Luka told the media in an interview.

Doncic highlighted the team’s recent cohesion and credited collective effort for a dominant first-half performance in a road win over the Milwaukee Bucks that showcased the group’s current chemistry.
“I think one of the biggest things for the team to win is have a great chemistry, and I think we have that,” he said.
Doncic’s comments followed a 41-point outing in which he also contributed rebounds and assists, a performance that underlined how the team has adapted during James’ absence while also raising questions about how roles will shift upon the star’s return.
Luka Doncic reiterated the importance of having a good culture of communication in bringing back a player like James to their rotation.
