Tyler Herro’s return from foot surgery certainly gave the Miami Heat a huge morale boost, as he picked up where he left off in last night’s 106-102 home win against the Dallas Mavericks.

In his season debut, Herro produced 24 points, seven rebounds, and three steals on 12-for-18 shooting from the field. His efficient outing drew praise from his teammates after the match.
“His voice, his presence, he’s always got a smile. He’s great to have. Not just on the floor, but in the locker room,” Jaime Jaquez said of Herro via Zachary Weinberger of ClutchPoints. “Just really happy to have him back, happy to see him have a night like that – fit right in, like he never left. So, just really happy to see him perform like that.”

“He didn’t shoot as many 3s as I thought he would,” Bam Adebayo stated. “He was getting in the paint and playing off the offense. He wasn’t doing too much. Playing within his rhythm, and came out with a great game.”
Miami Heat News: Tyler Herro reflects on his 2025-26 season debut
Tyler Herro missed 17 regular season games while recovering from his surgery, so the Miami Heat star was happy to help the team extend its winning streak last night.

“It felt amazing to be back,” Herro said during his postgame interview. “These guys have been having a lot of fun all season. It feels good to just be out here with them, to be part of it, to be in the mix of it. So, it was a lot of fun, glad we got the dub.”
Besides Herro, the Miami Heat also received meaningful contributions from Kel’el Ware, Bam Adebayo, and Jaime Jaquez Jr., who chipped in 20, 17, and 13 points, respectively.
