NBA fans everywhere are reacting to the astonishing news that OKC has experienced their first defeat of this season against none other than the Portland Trail Blazers. Portland was on fire throughout the game and went on to beat OKC by two points.

The win itself is truly phenomenal and it seems like the Trail Blazers have officially announced their entry as championship contenders. Meanwhile, NBA fans are having a field day churning out hilarious jokes and reactions to the win, with at least one fan calling out head coach Chauncey Billups who is currently on leave after being named in an illegal gambling case.

“BREAKING: THE TRAIL BLAZERS JUST HANDED OKC THEIR FIRST LOSS OF THE SEASON” NBA Central tweeted.

“The second Chauncey Billups leaves they take down the defending champs… (skull emoji)” one fan pointed out.

“As soon as Chauncey Billups leaves” one more fan said.

“This Portland team is different. Been a pleasure to watch. No gambling Chauncey and this team turns a corner (man shrugging emoji)” another fan echoed.

Chauncey Billups is currently on leave from his coaching duties after being named in the illegal gambling scam that was brought to light by the FBI a couple of weeks back. Not just Billups, but several NBA players and even members of the mafia family have also been named.

NBA Fans Comment Trail Blazers For Incredible Win

Meanwhile, NBA fans are continuing to heap praise on the Trail Blazers for the spectacular show against the OKC, mainly because they are defending champs right now. Many fans felt that the Blazers have entered this season with a very different attitude and put themselves out there as a winning franchise.

“This is no fluke. Don’t sleep on the Blazers. They are legit this season.” one fan said.

“The Trailblazer are loaded but nobody talks about them because NBA media is trash and only speaks with Hot Takes. That’s why it’s so hard for the Casual NBA fan to fall in love with the Sport they don’t know guys like this. I was told Deni Avdija wasn’t good (crying emoji x3) I told that same person Avdija is everything they want Cooper Flag to be (double exclamation emoji x3)” one more fan stated.

“blazers are decently good this season” yet another fan said.

At the same time, several fans felt that OKC might have actually let the Trail Blazers win on purpose. Still, this makes no sense for such a winning team to lose to Portland. Albeit, the Trail Blazers have shown incredible potential and fans will be hoping to see some more fireworks.
