NBA fans found another reason to clown Brandin Podziemski, and this time it had nothing to do with box scores.
During the Warriors’ 108–83 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, the broadcast camera cut to Podziemski late in the fourth quarter. The game was already out of reach. He looked frustrated. Maybe tired. Maybe just done with the night.
That was enough.
Fans immediately jumped into the comments, turning the moment into jokes within seconds.
@jordanumbers tried to play defense for him, saying, “Leave the golden state goat alone man, he just need sum help.”

@nb_rich didn’t bother holding back, adding, “He knows he gone be on Sacramento or Washington real soon.”
And @iamultramarine aimed their shot at the head coach instead, saying, “Kerr taking him home for cuddles and ice cream in bed to cheer him up.”
It was a rough night all around. Podziemski finished with 12 points, seven rebounds, and four assists, but none of that really mattered once the memes took over.

“He wants to fill the void Klay left”: NBA fans react to Brandin Podziemski’s awkward moment with Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green
The Timberwolves game wasn’t the first time Podziemski ended up in an uncomfortable spotlight.
Earlier in the week, during the Warriors’ 123–115 win over the Dallas Mavericks, Podz was caught on camera hovering near Steph Curry and Draymond Green. The two were clearly joking around, laughing, and reliving old Warriors moments.
Podziemski tried to slide into the conversation. It didn’t really land.
Fans noticed the awkward energy immediately and, once again, went to work.

@probablyspam30 wrote, “Thy literally laughed at him, he just didn’t understand. He wants to be Klay but is never going to fill the void Klay left.”
@comradesexposed went a different direction, saying, “Wishing an alternate universe where Draymond punches out Podz instead of Poole.”
And @cricket_abd kept it blunt, adding, “Podz try to fit in where he doesn’t belong.”
Whether it’s a reaction shot during a blowout or an awkward moment caught on camera, Podziemski keeps finding himself in the middle of NBA jokes — even when the Warriors are winning.
