NBA Fans Feast on Al Horford’s Sister’s Unsavory 2022 X Posts Against Warriors Now That Champion Big Man is A Dub

Al Horford will never forget his time with the Boston Celtics as he leaves them after seven seasons (two separate stints) to join the Golden State Warriors. He is joining a team that gave him a heartbreak in 2022 so this is a major twist. It is a development made even more interesting if one will remember how Horford’s own sister tried to antagonize Warriors’ championship with some ridiculous claims.

Anna, Horford’s younger sister earned the ire of Golden State fans for talking trash after the Celtics lost in the finals. She continued doing that even after the battle has been settled. Unfortunately for her, the internet never forgets. Some NBA X people are now feasting on that old tweet of hers.

‘Congrats to the bitch ass Warriors. Yes, I’m salty. Yes, it was a shitty loss. Love our guys & love how far we came. Sad for my brother who played an amazing game. Go Cs ☘️,” the younger Horford said back then.

Anna hasn’t said anything about the Warriors as of this writing but it would not be surprising if she changes her tune. For now, she is sad that the Horford-Celtics partnership has come to an end.

Al Horford contract with the Warriors

Horford going to the Warriors has been on trade rumor mills since July but only got confirmed on Sunday due to the situation the team has with Jonathan Kuminga who is seeking a huge contract.

ESPN’s Shams Charania said it was a multi-year deal and that he and the Warriors front office already agreed verbally.

“The sides are working through the final financial terms, with a signing in the coming days after the final decision from restricted free agent Jonathan Kuminga, a source said,” he wrote.

The five-time All-Star will join a team who was in dire need of a big man last season. They are still filled with veterans, most notably those he met in the 2022 NBA finals like Stephen Curry and Draymond Green.
