NBA fans turned their attention to Brandon Ingram’s girlfriend, rapper GloRilla, after she posted about the officiating in Toronto’s loss to the Denver Nuggets.
Trying to stand by her boyfriend after his game‑tying three was overturned, GloRilla wrote on socials: “Fire dem refs ASAP.”
But instead of support, NBA fans pushed back.

@RomeHoudini7C didn’t stutter and said, “Shut up and enjoy the game.”

@1keezybaby made it clear why the refs called off the shot: “He didn’t get the shot off in time bookie.”
And @certified1KB knew Ingram would be punished even more, saying, “Lmao they gonna fine ur dude.”
The NBA’s Last Two‑Minute Report confirmed the ruling, stating Ingram’s shot was not released before the clock expired.
“That swing of emotions hit hard”: NBA fans feel for Toronto after Brandon Ingram’s cancelled game-tying shot
Not all NBA fans criticized GloRilla.
Many sympathized with Ingram and the Raptors after the heartbreaking call. With 2.7 seconds left, Ingram’s quick three looked destined to force overtime — until the review overturned it.

@mizzelaalphax had a bit of a rollercoaster ride and said, “That swing of emotions hit hard fam, Toronto fans need a hug after that one.”
@ohlelel also felt for Ingram, saying, “Such a W for Ingram though – he is that clutch player and showed it.”
However, @KurlyChrisTV joked, “USA 1Canada 0. basketball wins to close out 2025.”
Despite the disappointment, Ingram carried Toronto with 30 points and 8 rebounds, nearly posting a double‑double in the loss.
For NBA fans, the moment was both crushing and unforgettable — a reminder of how quickly emotions can swing in the final seconds.
