NBA fans held their breath during the Mavericks vs. Raptors game when Gradey Dick hit D’Angelo Russell in the groin area during a play. Dick was immediately called for a foul, but social media has been on fire with memes and jokes about the incident. Russell can be seen immediately falling to the floor in pain, but the injury itself does not seem to be too serious.

Despite the brief embarrassment, Russell and the Mavericks managed to win with a ten-point lead, with the point guard himself grabbing 24 points. On the other side, Dick chalked up a tenner for Toronto.

“All ball” one Mavericks fan commented with a GIF of YouTuber Speed holding in his laughter.

“Living up to his name (man facepalming emoji)” another fan pointed out at Gradey Dick.

“Is this a basketball game or a sword fight? (smiling face with open mouth emoji)” one more fan stated.

NBA Fans Continue To Troll Gradey Dick On Social Media

NBA fans are having a field day on social media as they continue to insult the Raptors player with the unfortunate last name. Gradey Dick has always been mocked as a result of his last name and has been the headliner for various memes and jokes. However, this recent groin injury that he inflicted on D’Angelo Russell has provided even more fodder for joke makers.

“Crazy thing I only ever see blud go viral bc his name is dick or something d*ck related” one fan noted.

“’That will be a meme for weeks.’ Without a doubt.” Another fan predicted in the comments section.

“Those Gradey Dick jokes never get old. Will someone hit him with a green d*ldo next?” still another fan said.

After joining the Raptors about two seasons back, Gradey Dick has not exactly proven himself to be such an impressive player. However, he has definitely succeeded in becoming hot joke and meme material, simply because of his last name. Ever since his entry into the NBA, Dick has continued to make headlines every now and then, not for a feat he achieved on the court, but simply for his last name.

Fans have been attaching the player to various other players whose last names also sound funny, putting in suggestions for various jersey swaps that would spell out hilarious combinations. Despite all the memes and jokes surrounding his last name, Gradey Dick has not expressed disappointment in these and has simply gone on to accept them with a smile on his face.
