NBA fans poked fun at a new photo of Klay Thompson having an intimate moment with his girlfriend, rapper and artist Megan Thee Stallion.
Over at X, a photo of Dallas Mavericks star Klay Thompson cuddling with his girlfriend, Megan Thee Stallion, made rounds, and NBA fans gave their honest reaction that called out Thompson’s apparent decline in on-court productivity.

One fan had a conclusion that pointed to Megan’s supposed endgame with Thompson.
“She getting that bag,” one fan said.
Another fan echoed the sentiment, but linked the relationship to Thompson’s decline in performance lately.
“This guy does everything besides put the ball in the basket,” they said.
More than his smile, one fan pointed out something fans had never seen before, too.
“We’ve also never seen him play this bad before,” one fan said.
Fans are not the only people who believe that Thompson is ready to hang up the towel and quit hooping. Former NBA guard Jason Williams said on the Hoopin’ N Hollerin’ podcast that Thompson’s recent shooting struggles could be tied to his relationship with rapper Meg Thee Stallion, offering a blunt, colorful assessment that drew attention on social media.
Williams acknowledged other possibilities but repeated a crude proverb to suggest a romantic relationship can derail a player’s focus, framing his remark as a possible explanation for Thompson’s dip in production.
“I’m from West Virginia, man, I’ve been taught a lot from old folks, old white folks,” Williams said, “It only takes one p**** to drag a battleship across the desert. That’s how powerful it is.”
While he did not drop any specific reasons, he hinted that he is referring to the same things most people are thinking of.
“Klay Thompson, I ain’t sayin’ that’s what it is,” he added, “but that might be what it is.”
The comments came amid wider debate over Thompson’s form this season. The four-time NBA champion has been averaging just 7.4 points per game and shooting poorly from three, prompting analysts and fans to search for causes ranging from age and past injuries to off-court distractions.
