NBA fans are not ready to believe that Giannis Antetokounmpo indeed suffered a calf strain in the recent Pistons matchup. The ‘Greek Freak’ could be seen limping to the bench after only a few minutes into the game clutching his leg.

While it was originally supposed that Antetokounmpo may have injured his Achilles, it seems like the injury is pretty light. However, with trade rumors swirling around the player, many fans believe that there is no injury at all, and that the baller will soon leave the team.

“Bucks say Giannis Antetokounmpo has a right calf strain.” Shams Charania tweeted.

“Business decision lmao he gone”, one fan joked.

“Giannis Antetokounmpo meeting with his realtor in the locker room. (flushed face emoji), one more fan tweeted, sharing a cartoon of the baller speaking with a realtor who is pointing to a map of various ‘trade destinations.’

“like letting off the sickness and coughs in advance in the office before you plan on being ‘unwell’ the next day (crying emoji)”, another fan said.

It is still not confirmed that Giannis Antetokounmpo will actually be traded out of the Bucks. If he manages to do so, the team will be lacking a major talent, since the hooper has created a legacy for himself with the Bucks.

NBA Fans Continue To Crack Jokes After Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Calf Strain

NBA fans seem to be collectively agreeing that Giannis Antetokounmpo definitely does want to be traded and is therefore faking an injury, or hyping it up too much. History can list a number of players who have stopped performing for a team altogether as soon as trade rumors come by, and perhaps Antetokounmpo is one of them.

“Now he can sit out until they find a trade”, one fan highlighted.

“league praying this is just a plot twist not a season arc”, another fan said.

“Right a strained calf. Not a pending trade”, one more fan echoed.

From the looks of it, almost all fans are at the same level of agreement that Antetokounmpo will be undoubtedly traded from the Bucks pretty soon. Of course, there were a few who believe that the calf strain is just a sign of the incredible pressure that Antetokounmpo is facing because of carrying the entire team. If the ‘Greek Freak’ is indeed out of the season, the Bucks will be reduced to shambles. However, with a calf strain, the player can be expected back on court in a short while.
