NBA fans are reacting to Kyrie Irving’s cryptic tweet about adversity, after the Mavs announced that they were firing Nico Harrison as general manager. Harrison was let go by the team after making a number of stupid decisions which cost the team plenty, mainly referring to the unforgettable Luka Doncic-Anthony Davis trade.

Irving did not exactly tag anyone or even mention Harrison’s name in his tweet. However, his words let many fans to worry that he might want out of Dallas, especially with the team playing very poorly this season.

“When you play for Nico Harrison <<adversity>> is all you have! (rolling on the floor laughing emoji x3)” another fan tweeted with a gif of Luka Doncic tearing his Mavericks jersey.

“We love you Kai. We be honored to have you stick around, take your time coming back, mentor Coop and retire a Mav. D what’s best for you!” Yet another fan advised Irving.

NBA Fans Want Kyrie Irving To Stick With Mavs After Cryptic Tweet

NBA fans do sympathize with Kyrie Irving and that the player is tired of being with a losing team such as Dallas. However, Irving is one of the best in the Mavs roster and fans would be broken if he chose to leave. Many fans pleaded with Irving to stay with the team after his latest tweet.

“Love you. Take your time in getting health and right. Hope you are here for along time.” another fan echoed.

“Dallas wants u to retire here man we want ur jersey in the rafters don’t leave goat” yet another fan begged.

Kyrie Irving is still in the injured list after his ACL tear earlier this year. As of now, fans are desperately waiting for Irving to come back. However, as a result of Irving’s injury, there are many rumors going around that the Mavs may actually trade him soon. Still, Irving has created a sort of legacy with the Mavs and Dallas fans will be definitely sad to see him go.
