NBA fans are not going to forgive Nico Harrison anytime soon, even after he was fired by the Mavs recently. Harrison was let go by the Mavs a day ago for a series of mistakes that have cost the team plenty.

Harrison was primarily responsible for Luka Doncic’s shocking trade to the Lakers, something which rattled every NBA fan and critic since then. Recently, a viral tweet has been going around, reminding everyone that Harrison was behind Jalen Brunson going to the Knicks as well. Brunson and Doncic were building some incredible chemistry before he was moved, and fans are having different reactions to this.

“Nico Harrison really broke this up lmao” Hater Report tweeted with a clip of Doncic and Brunson at a Mavs game.

“My gawd Brunson & Luka would win some chips” one fan commented.

“Can someone explain, genuinely asking, why Nico Harrison wanted Luka gone?” another fan asked, still unable to comprehend Doncic’s trade.

“They couldn’t figure out how to use them together. With Luka out, Brunson put up 41 in a playoff game” one fan theorized as to why Harrison split this duo up.

NBA Fans Are Thankful To Nico Harrison For Doncic In LA

On the other hand, many NBA fans feel pretty happy that Nico Harrison made the blunderous move and got Luka Doncic to the Lakers. Doncic has been killing it with the purple and gold ever since he got there, while his trade counterpart, Anthony Davis, has been a disappointing letdown.

“Me defending Nico Harrison cuz I’m watching Luka Doncic in purple & gold:” a fan reacted, sharing a gif to go along with their tweet.

“Once in a while I’ll wake up thinking about this, smile, then go back to bed. Thank you Nico!” one fan gave their gratitude to Harrison.

“had Luka & Brunson (cross mark emoji) had Kyrie & Luka (cross mark emoji) But ended up with Anthony (IR) Davis & Kyrie??? (crying emoji) That man needs to genuinely be investigated there’s no way he made that trade in the best interest of the Dallas Mavericks…The man has friends throughout the Los Angeles Lakers.” another fan pointed out.

Nico Harrison has certainly received plenty of hate after the mind-blowing trade with Doncic and Davis. However, he was not the only one involved in the trade. As per recent reports, there were numerous others in the team who were on board with it as well, including coach Jason Kidd.
