NBA fans did not mince words against Toronto Raptors star Brandon Ingram, who recently went viral for a courtside incident where he threw a bottle of water that hit a non-player employee.

Over at X, NBA fans did not hold back in calling out Raptors star Brandon Ingram for a recent incident where he lost his cool and threw a fit courtside. For one fan, the behavior reflected why he is “unwanted.”

During an NBA game, Brandon Ingram engaged in a sideline confrontation, which involved throwing a water bottle at a member of the Toronto Raptors staff and hitting him in the face, preceded by a clear tantrum and drawing in teammates and game officials very quickly.

After the incident, video of the exchange was shared on various different platforms and it showed the events building up on the bench and getting everyone, on both teams’ benches, involved. The incident happened during a back-and-forth part of the game, and Ingram appeared frustrated internally as he threw the water bottle which hit the staff member.

Team personnel and the league made limited comments in the aftermath and it is expected that the league will review the incident to determine if there is any disciplinary action or fine warranted, given the intention of the throw and that it hit someone who is not a player.

The league has previously punished players for similar behavior and it is possible that review could lead to punishment depending on level of injury and intent.

NBA Fans Blast Brandon Ingarm Over Courtside Fit

Over at X (and on Instagram as well), NBA fans blasted Raptors star Brandon Ingram for his recent incident, where he threw a fit courtside and hit a worker with a water bottle while at it. For some fans, the way he was not reprimanded is concerning.

“Didn’t apologize, watched everyone else clean up his mess, and no one said a word to him,” one fan said. “No teammate, no coach. Shameful.”

Over at his Instagram account, Ingram has been blasted by angry fan comments, all criticizing him for the recent incident. Someone took a screenshot of it and shared it on X.

“Brandon Ingram’s Instagram is getting flooded with comments about how terrible a person is for throwing a water bottle,” they said. “This is insane.”

As the issue continues to develop, NBA fans are on the lookout to see if Ingram will face any sanctions or not.
