LeBron James has never shied away from a little back-and-forth with NBA fans, and he found himself in another courtside exchange during the Lakers’ 112–108 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday.
As James walked past the sideline, a fan chirped, “You still ain’t got no hair though,” prompting LeBron to fire back, “You know what I do got though. I got plenty of it.”

That vague comeback instantly turned into meme fuel, with fans tossing out their own interpretations.

One fan said, “Is he referring to all the baby oil he has at home?”
Another added, “He meant points, right?”
A third wrote, “He could mean like 3 different things with that sentence. Points, money, dick.”
Hairline jokes or not, James backed his talk by torching Philly for 29 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists. He wasn’t the only one putting up numbers Sunday—DeAndre Ayton chipped in a 14-12 double-double, while Luka Doncic dropped 31 points and 15 boards.
“Year 24 already loading”: NBA fans think LeBron isn’t done yet
Sunday’s win didn’t just pad the Lakers’ record — it bumped LeBron up another historic leaderboard. He officially passed Celtics legend Robert Parish for second all-time in total career wins, per the league’s stats page. Parish held 1,014; James now sits at 1,015 after the win in Philadelphia.

And with that milestone in reach, fans are convinced LeBron’s gearing up for at least one more season.

One wrote, “Yea he definitely playing next year. Year 24 already loading.”
Another added, “king james climbing that list feels inevitable longevity plus impact is a rare combination, and he’s mastered both.”
A third said, “Just a matter of time!”
The only man left in his way is Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who finished with 1,074 career wins. With fewer than 60 to go, the door’s open for LeBron to make one last run at the top spot — and fans are already bracing for it.
