Miami Heat guard Norman Powell has been one of the best players for the team this season. Powell has appeared in 30 games for the Heat, averaging 24.1 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists. The 6-foot-3 forward is having the best year of his career and believes that he deserves to have a spot in the 2026 NBA All-Star Game in Los Angeles.

On Sunday, Powell led the Heat to a 125-106 win over the New Orleans Pelicans. The veteran player had 34 points, three rebounds, three assists and two steals. The star was unstoppable on the floor and made 73.3% of shots, including a 9-for-12 shooting from beyond the arc. His performance this season has helped Miami to a 20-16 record.

After their win over the Pelicans, Powell campaigned for himself to make a spot in the upcoming All-Star game.

“I think I definitely have made the case,” Powell said. “I learned last year not to get caught up in whether I make it or not. I want to make it. I think I deserve to make it. My peers around the league after games are telling me I am an All Star. Hopefully, it happens for me this year.”

However, Norman Powell revealed that his goal is to help the team win. If he becomes an official All-Star this year, it will be the first of his career.

Even fans are looking forward to seeing Norman Powell in the All-Star Game this season. Fans believe the Heat star deserves recognition because he has been the team’s top player. After his 34-point game, fans on X campaigned for Powell’s All-Star bid.

    “He’s an All-Star,” a fan said.

“My guy balled out tonite!! He was feeling it from 3!!” another fan commented.

“Clippers really moved on from him for cap space to get Beal smh,” one fan said.

“Vote for him for all star boy deserves it,” someone commented.

“Norman Powell giveaway is the stupidest trade this season by far. Clippers must’ve been out of their minds to trade their best scorer, it’s crazy!” a fan commented.

“ALL STAR NORMAN POWELL RIGHT NOW,” one fan commented.

Due to Powell’s impressive season, people are starting to notice his All-Star talent.
