Paige Bueckers was the latest guest on the ‘Not Gonna Lie’ podcast with Kylie Kelce, and the two ladies discussed several interesting topics. Paige Bueckers was drilled about her time in the league, her rivalry with Caitlin Clark, and was even encouraged to sign with the new W team from Philadelphia.
While the team was founded last year, it has yet to be christened, but fans are already speculating as to which stars would be part of the debut roster. Kylie Kelce, being a devout Philly fan tried her best to get Bueckers on board with the team, after her pitch to A’ja Wilson last year failed.

“I will say that I will plant the seed now, We would love to have you. Sorry Dallas, but I am not sorry.” Kylie Kelce said.

Paige Bueckers was also extensively asked about her intense head-to-head rivalry with Caitlin Clark, even though the latter hardly played in the most recent campaign. Paige Bueckers admitted that most parts of the rivalry have been built up by the media.
“A lot of us, me and Caitlin even played together on the Junior Olympic level when we were younger, we were in high school and it was always a fun time … It’s crazy because everyone’s pitting me and Caitlin against each other for the longest time. And we’re cool, we’re friends. But again, it’s respect to the competition so we understand that. We understand how media works and how they want to pit two people against each other and they’re supposed to hate each other, and blah blah blah. So we all understand that, and it’s all in the love of the game. But at the same time, to have two fanbases that really hate each other have to come together for a couple months will be really fun. Everybody will just have to get along for a little bit.” Bueckers said.
Bueckers is actually not Clark’s biggest rival, at least according to W fans. Most keep pitting Clark against Angel Reese, with their rivalry stemming from their NCAA days. In this case as well, it looks like most of it was built up by fans.

Paige Bueckers Is Rocking In Unrivaled Season 2
On another note, Paige Bueckers seems to have already created a lasting niche for herself in the Unrivaled, despite this being her debut season in the 3×3 league. To kick off the week, Paige Bueckers put up a magnificent 37 points on the board in the matchup against the Mist BC, easily becoming the league’s highest scorer.
Paige Bueckers’ incredible performance obviously led to the Breeze BC winning the tournament, with fans and critics praising the baller’s efficiency. Bueckers winning the free-throw challenge was just another bonus delight for her many fans.
