The Orlando Magic are supposed to build from what they achieved last year but that’s not how it look like these days after the team go 4-6 by losing their second in last three. The team is getting frustrated and so is Paolo Banchero.

Banchero scored 28 points in the loss to the Boston Celtics. He has been consistently their best player in 10 games, averaging 22.8 points and close to 10 and 5 rebounds per game. His play remains the same but their overall standing is yet to improve.
They are currently 4-6 and have lost two of their last three despite having two-day rest in between three games.
The loss to Celtics was one that stings more as it was the game they could have won as they were within range throughout the game but slipped in the last minute.
They had 17 turnovers in the game and that’s what Jamahl Mosley was frustrated about that he kept on going back to it during the press conference. Some fans blame this to the new faster pace of their offense with the arrival of new players.

Paolo Banchero on new look offense
Banchero was frustrated, too, post game. When asked about the connection between the turnover and the offense, his answer has fans feeling the worst.
“Yeah, I mean, I don’t know. I don’t know about that one,” he said.

Fans now think there is a disconnect between Magic’s star and the team.
We’re going to lose this young man if we aren’t careful @OrlandoMagic https://t.co/RyTpQbspVD

Others are putting the blame on Mosley.
Hahahahah , some of yall are STILL defending this guy. I get it turnovers. YOU played black who was a team low -25 ,20 minutes tonight but went away from da Silva who Boston clearly feared and he was making tough shots and hitting timely
3’s. https://t.co/wAsZIdKIAh— Chad Farrell Jr. (@Drexsin_) November 10, 2025
To give Banchero the benefit of the doubt, the clip did not show everything. Banchero gave a full answer later on.
#Magic forward Paolo Banchero was asked by @JeremyBrener if he’s noticed how different the offense is this season and if the pace has contributed to turnovers:
“Yeah, I mean, I don’t know. I don’t know about that one.”
I tried to follow-up for him to expand. Full video/remarks: pic.twitter.com/DISuYGJMHb
