It is like clockwork whenever All-Star Game rosters are announced. Someone gets snubbed while some players are not worthy of the distinction.
A lot of names are being brought up. Among them are Kawhi Leonard and Brandon Ingram whose teams have better record than the Pacers. People have opinions.

Siakam has been carrying the Pacers all-season long. He remains hard at work even during the time they suffered a franchise worst 13-game losing streak.
Pascal Siakam helps USA vs World Agenda
One reason people thought why Siakam was selected is because of the new format that the ASG will be having.
It will be Team USA vs Team World in this year’s edition and Siakam, being from Cameroon, can help the Team World’s cause. Other international players selected as reserves are Karl-Anthony Towns who is from Dominican Republic, Deni Avidja from Israel, and Jamal Murray from Canada.
Norman Powell, a first time All-Star, has Jamaican roots while Donovan Mitchell recently said that he wants to play for Team World to honor his Panamanian heritage.
Announced starters for Team World are Giannis Antetokoummpo (Greece), Victor Wembanyama (France), Luka Doncic (Slovenia), Nikola Jokic (Serbia), and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Canada).
