Phoenix Suns tried to survive their first game without their third best scorer but then they suffered a fourth quarter collapse, surrendering a 20-point lead to the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday. They looked okay without Grayson Allen who missed his first ever game this season but then the fourth quarter happened.

The Suns are already dealing with the absence of heavy scorer Jalen Green and Allen not playing puts a knock on their offensive system. Allen starts for the team and averages 18.5 points per game and 1.3 steals.
He recently had a career game after scoring his career high of 42 points in 28 minutes against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Their next game is agains the Portland Trailblazers. Will they have their shooting guard back? Fans will have to wait a little longer.

Green, who re-injured his hamstring a game after his stellar debut, will be re-evaluated after this month.
Phoenix Suns are tired
The Suns were in command in their loss to the Hawks. They even had some help when 2024 no. 1 pick Zaccharie Risacher had to leave the game after a hard fall.
They were leading by 15 points at this point but then their hosts crawled back and staged a 20-0 run to sell the 124-122 victory.
While some players are blaming some questionable calls, head coach Jordan Ott is crediting the loss to fatigue.

“We’re going to have to find new parts of our rotation because these games don’t stop. We play in two days. Even though we had two days in between, our guys were feeling it yesterday after 3 games in 4 days.”
