Detroit Pistons are on to their 13th straight win and everybody expected since their opponents were the Indiana Pacers. However, the East bottom dwellers still managed to make it hard for the Pistons and that is why their star Cade Cunningham is not happy.

The 12-2 Pistons managed to build a sizeable lead in the first half (71-55) when they stepped on the gear in the second quarter. However, Pacers climbed their way up little by little and even won the fourth quarter by eight points.
They threatened to steal the game when they got close to a 117-119 deficit with just 25 seconds to go. Cade and company managed to build separation through the free throws to seal the 112-117 victory.
Cunningham, who led his team with 24 points, thought them almost losing should have never happened.
“We shouldn’t have allowed them to get back into the game like that,” he told reporters after the game.
“So watch the film, be sick about the film, but work from it, learn from it and get better.”
He also said that it was not their best version that played.

Asked Cade Cunningham why he didn’t seem satisfied with the Pistons’ win streak.
“We just want to be our best version of ourselves, and tonight was not the best version of us.
“So I’m not happy about that.” pic.twitter.com/uWMNQsTaj8

Cade Cunningham looks back to being the NBA’s worst
While he is not happy with the way they ended the game, he is appreciate of the way things turned out for them and they are now seen as among the league’s best.
He dedicated his team’s 12-game winning streak to the fans and the franchise.
“It’s amazing,” Pistons star Cade Cunningham said. “We play for the Detroit Pistons, man. A historic franchise. So, to be able to make history for a historic franchise like this — it’s special.”

He also looked back on the bad years they had before this recent relative success.
Cade: “Its pretty cool that we had the worst streak in franchise history and now we have an opportunity to go have the greatest streak in franchise history … but this is just a product of the work. This isn’t what we were going for, we still have bigger things to go do.” pic.twitter.com/sIeX7fGQxQ
