Tyrese Haliburton’s fiancée, Jade Jones, isn’t shy about showing support for her NBA star—and she recently threw some shade at his former teammate, Myles Turner.
The former Iowa State cheerleader caught fans’ attention after liking a post from a Bennedict Mathurin fan page on X. The post joked about Turner, who left the Indiana Pacers for the Milwaukee Bucks this summer:

“@Original_Turner Milwaukee already hates you LMFAOOOOO.”
Jones’ subtle interaction sparked laughs online, showing she’s fully in Haliburton’s corner, even if it means teasing a former teammate.
Turner spent ten seasons with Indiana, helping them reach the Eastern Conference Finals twice and playing a key role in their 2025 playoff run. But after contract talks fell through, he signed a four-year, $108.9 million deal with the Bucks.
“Thankful more than ever”: Tyrese Haliburton and Jones Celebrate Thanksgiving
For the last time in her life, Jade Jones celebrated the holiday as a Jones as she will soon bear Tyrese Haliburton’s surname.
For Thanksgiving, Jones reminded everyone about her upcoming wedding to the Indiana Pacers’ superstar with her Instagram post.

“Thankful more than ever 🤎” Jones posted, showing a video of herself and Haliburton in their wedding attire.
Back in July, Haliburton popped the question after coming short against the OKC Thunder in the NBA Finals. Hali used the Hilton Coliseum as the venue for his wedding proposal.
During his proposal, he stayed true to his passion as Haliburton used an empty basketball arena to put up a giant sign that read “Will You Marry Me?” before going down on one knee to ask the big question. “The place where our story started, and where our next chapter begins,” Haliburton posted on IG.
Tyrese may have failed to secure his first NBA Championship ring, but he was able to give Jones the ring she’s been waiting for ahead of the most important ring comes next year.
