WNBA fans have been busy coming up with jokes and memes over the weekend after Angel Reese posted her latest tweet. Reese shared a tweet about her accomplishments in various fields at such a young age of 23. While her achievements are certainly notable, fans were not going to let her forget that she has not been able to make such a big mark in her WNBA career.

Reese entered the league with plenty of promise, but somehow has been a pretty big let-down for her fans. Reese even managed to be the inspiration behind a new term in the league, ‘mebounds’ which refers to her pattern of grabbing her own rebounds. Even though fans have been mocking her for different things on social media, Angel Reese has always taken this in stride. Reese even trademarked the ‘mebounds’ term for her own branding.

“Hooper. Model. Fashion Icon. Actress. Podcaster. Entrepreneur. Business Owner. Home Owner. All at 23. But, GOD. (praying hands emoji))” Angel Reese tweeted.

All at 23. But, GOD. 🙏🏽

“Still can’t make a layup through (crying emoji x12)” one fan jokingly reminded everyone.

“Hooper is a stretch. Rebounder 100% you can bounce that ball off the backboard with the best of them” another fan added.

“Remove the first one and you are correct” one more fan mocked.

WNBA Fans Troll Angel Reese, Compare Her To Caitlin Clark

Of course, WNBA fans mocking Angel Reese definitely mean that Caitlin Clark has to come into the picture, even if there was no mention of the Indiana Fever player’s name. After Reese’s latest tweet, there were a number of fans who felt that her accomplishments are nothing when compared to Clark. Meanwhile, some fans felt that Reese is only popular as a result of Clark and that she should be humble about her achievements on and off the court.

“Better thank @CaitlinClark22 for all your achievements…” one fan stated.

“Mwahahaha… you have 1/10 the greatness of You-know-who (rolling on the floor laughing emoji)…. CC are her initials (rolling on the floor laughing emoji)” another fan echoed.

“Those things are good, but you shouldn’t be having to brad about yourself. It turns people off. Tip: Just be you and let the results speak for themselves. Or, at the very least, let others brag about you. Don’t do it yourself!” another fan advised Reese.

Angel Reese most recently became the first professional athlete to walk the ramp for Victoria’s Secret. Reese is undoubtedly who she says she is, even if many don’t agree with her. While her haters may continue to troll her, Reese has always ensured that she doesn’t let hate bring her down.
