While the Las Vegas Aces sit just a win away from another WNBA title, WNBA fans have shifted their attention to Sophie Cunningham, who’s enjoying some downtime after the Indiana Fever’s playoff exit.
Cunningham’s season ended early due to a torn MCL in her right knee last August, and as she continues her recovery, she’s been spending time on her farm — which fans can’t seem to get enough of.

In a recent Instagram story, the Fever forward shared a clip feeding a donkey named Mark blueberries and carrots. That name alone had fans buzzing.
One fan joked, “Is anyone getting ex vibes with the name?”

Another said, “Sophie needs a goat and call it Caitlin.”
A third added, “The WNBA has a ‘Farm Barbie’ and I’m so down for it haha.”
But even while she’s healing, Cunningham hasn’t stayed quiet about what’s going on in the league.
“Sophie was not wrong”: WNBA Fans Back Cunningham on CBA Take
On her “Show Me Something” podcast, Cunningham called out WNBA commissioner Cathy Engelbert for how she’s handled ongoing CBA negotiations.

“I think this is just such a pivotal point in the WNBA. There are so many eyes on us, there are so many new fans, and at the end of the day, (Cathy’s) worried about her in all of her statements,” said Cunningham.
She added, “It’s all like ‘Well, I got us here and I should’… Cathy, no one cares.”
Fans sided with Sophie, praising her for calling out Engelbert’s ego.
One wrote, “The fact that Sophie said Cathy will always respond by making it all about herself. Sophie was not wrong.”

Another added, “Cathy Engelbert is an egomaniac who cares about no one but herself… she could’ve been remembered fondly if she actually helped the league grow.”

With the current CBA set to expire at the end of October, tensions between players and the league are high. After Napheesa Collier claimed Engelbert told her that stars like Caitlin Clark should be “grateful” for their pay, the commissioner denied it — but trust seems broken.
Now, fans and players alike fear a lockout could be just around the corner.
