Bronny James just turned 21, and yeah — that one hit Savannah right in the heart.
She posted a series of photos showing Bronny’s glow-up through the years — from a baby in her arms to a young man chasing his NBA dream — with a message that could make any parent tear up.
“My firstborn baby is 21 today. This could have gone 1 of 2 ways… but I’m so overly confident in the man you are that I have no tear,” Savannah wrote. “Just gratitude that I was chosen to watch you become the man you are today.”

Then came the kicker: “I pray for you so much happiness, health, joy, growth, courage, inner peace, and an abundance of love! Happiest Birthday @bronny! I love you beyond measure #GiverOfStretchmarks Lol!
That last line? Total mom move.
It’s been a rollercoaster first year for Bronny. Drafted 55th overall by the Lakers in 2024, he only played 27 games and averaged 2.3 points per contest — not much time to prove anything. But once he got to the G League, things started clicking.
In 11 games, Bronny went off for 21.9 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 5.5 assists — the kind of numbers that remind everyone why he’s not just “LeBron’s kid.”

Much love from LeBron to Bronny James on his birthday
And of course, you know LeBron wasn’t letting Savannah have all the spotlight.
He jumped in with his own birthday nod — a short clip from Sunday’s preseason matchup with the Warriors, featuring one of Bronny’s highlight plays.
“Bronny’s Bounce!” he captioned it. Simple, but straight from the heart.
Sure, Bronny James’ still finding his rhythm. His preseason’s been up and down, and there’s plenty of work left to do. But if there’s one thing clear, it’s this — he’s got both parents backing him every step of the way.
And really, that might be the best gift of all.
