Caitlin Clark made her second appearance in the ‘New Heights’ podcast during New Year’s Eve, much to the delight of her fans everywhere. Conversing with the Kelce brothers, Clark spoke at length about the ongoing football campaign and the upcoming Super Bowl.
Clark admitted that she would be mostly rooting for the Patriots this time out, mainly since she loved Drake Maye. Clark was cheering on the Chiefs in the previous campaign, and was even spotted watching a couple of games from the VIP box, seated next to Taylor Swift. However, Clark did admit feeling that the viewership of the Super Bowl this year would be lower because of the absence of the Chiefs.

“I mean, I’ll probably be, like, pulling for the Patriots, but, I mean, I think the Rams are really good too. Sam Darnold seems like a good guy, so I could root for him, too. But the viewership is not going to be the same without the Chiefs.” Caitlin Clark said.

Caitlin Clark’s words may be slightly biased because of devotion to KC, but at the same time, do also hold some water. The Chiefs have had one of the highest viewership numbers in the league for quite a while, which only boomed after the entrance of Taylor Swift. Swift has brought her massive army of Swifties to the league, many of whom just started watching football because of their love for her.
While Swift has increased viewership for the Chiefs, this also seems to have caused several incidents of favoritism toward the team and the players from game officials. In this season as well, the team enjoyed quite a bit of bias in their favor. Unfortunately for them, the bias toward them did nothing since the Chiefs eventually found themselves out of the playoffs.
Caitlin Clark Talks About Upcoming Shoe With Nike
In the same episode, Caitlin Clark also spoke much about her collaboration with Nike, which is set to release her newest shoe later this year. Clark has always been a fan of the brand and seems pretty excited in having a shoe in her honor.

The Fever legend was also drilled about the intimate details of the shoe, and Clark was more than happy to talk about her new sneakers. Clark stated that she wanted something very unique in her shoe and will be bringing the sole technology to cover the entire bottom, not just the heel.
