Golden State Warriors guard Moses Moody had one of the best nights of his career on Sunday. The Warriors had a 124-106 win over the New Orleans Pelicans, with significant help from Moody, who had a career-high of 32 points. Most of it came from the first quarter, when he had a career-best seven made 3-pointers. The 2021 first-round pick had 21 points in the opening quarter, which set the tone for the rest of the game.
Moody had his fifth start of the year, and it was significantly beneficial for the team. On Friday, Moody was part of the starting lineup, but he struggled on the floor. The former Arkansas guard only had four points on four-for-eight shooting against the San Antonio Spurs. Fortunately for Golden State, they secured a 109-108 win against the Victor Wembanyama-led team.
The guard performed better this time around with his hot shooting from deep.

Following his strong performance, fans revealed their thoughts. Here are some of what the fans said about Moody.
“He was in the mood,” a fan said.
“Is Moody a new splash brother 🏀” another fan commented.
“He is leading us to The Promised Land,” one fan said.
“He couldn’t score 10 points two night ago when I needed him but go crazy today lol,” a fan commented.

“Kerr gonna DNP him next game,” another fan joked.
“Bro literally turned the 1st quarter into a personal highlight reel. Who even built this guy?? Moses out here making Steph look nervous,” a fan said.
Anthony Davis is linked to the Warriors

There have been several trade rumors regarding Anthony Davis after the Dallas Mavericks fired general manager Nico Harrison. Many believe that the All-Star big man could be on the move next. His injuries have not impacted the Mavericks positively, as he’s missed eight straight games this season. According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, Davis could miss at least seven to 10 more games.
Amid the trade talks, CBS Sports’ Sam Quinn suggested that the Warriors could be the ideal destination for Davis.
“The fit is pretty straightforward,” Quinn wrote. “Davis is the rim-protector and lob catcher the Warriors have wanted forever. They would’ve been thrilled if James Wiseman had been half of the player Anthony Davis is. He can play in their switch-y defense. He’s a capable enough ball-handler and passer to function in Golden State’s unconventional offense. He’d be Stephen Curry’s best teammate since Kevin Durant. This is the team that can look at Davis and say “getting him might be the difference between a championship or bust.”
With Davis’ injury history, however, Golden State might be hesitant to trade for the star big man.
