Giannis Antetokounmpo’s start to the season is not ideal but all is well as he is back health and the league continues to recognize his dominance by having him named to the 2026 All-Star Game. The Milwaukee Bucks superstar got the most vote in the Eastern Conference and got the second most overall, behind Los Angeles Lakers’ Luka Doncic.

The Greek Freak created franchise history with this current selection.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is ready to get more
Antetokounmpo has come a long way from being an unknown player from Greece to becoming an NBA legend. The Bucks star recalled the time he was in disbelief after his general manager and coaches commented about his potential to become a star.
“I’d probably not believe it. I think when I came to the league, I had this meeting with John Hammond and Dave Morway, who was the GM and assistant GM of the Bucks, and they told me ‘hey look at all these guys, Paul Pierce, Tracy McGrady they’ve been 10-time All-Stars, you can be one of those guys.’ And I’m like ‘Do you really believe that?’ He was like ‘Yeah if you work hard and you have the tools to be one of those guys’,’ he told reporters after their win over the Atlanta Hawks.

“I kinda took that and instilled it in my heart. I’ve never said it publicly but one of my goals as a player was to be a 10-time All-Star and I’m very happy that I’ve accomplished it.”
Although he already achieved almost everything, he said he is not yet done and wants to accomplish more.
“It’s been incredible, but it doesn’t stop here. There’s more to go and I can’t wait for whatever chapter is next.”
