Wednesday NBA stories were dominated by the news about Giannis Antetokounmpo and Chris Paul but these would have been eclipsed during Detroit Pistons-Milwaukee Bucks- game after two players known for not backing down anything almost got into it – Isaiah Stewart and Bobby Portis.

These two have built a reputation as enforcers. They are not afraid to push things to a level that could get them punished by the league.
The play occurred in the third quarter when they got tangled up while Stewart was trying to go for the shot near the basket. Some words were exchanged and they got on each other’s face with a distance of a hairline. Words were exchanged, too.

What was it about? Well, they want to beat up each other right then and there according to lip readers.
“I’ll punch the f**k out you boy. You want some? I’d kill you n***a”

Isaiah Stewart got ejected
The refs were in the middle of all this before things escalated. They did not meet each other again on the court because Stewart was ejected as it was already his second technical foul.
His absence, however, was a problem as Pistons lost one personnel inside and the big men wreaked havoc on them. Jericho Sims had a field day on the boards, recording 14 rebounds. He also recorded a career high of 15 points on 7 out of 7 shooting.
Shoutout Jericho Sims.

Stewart should play more intelligently from now on as his role for his team, currently the no. 1 in the East, is expanding.
Before the game, he received praises from coach JB Bickerstaff after his hardwork was stamped by getting ranked in the Defensive Player of the Year power rankings.

“He is the most versatile center as a defender in the league,” Bickerstaff said.
“There is not a guy out on the perimeter or the post that he cannot guard. He does a great job of protecting the rim. Blocking shots, making things difficult for people.”
