Jaxson Hayes’ current girlfriend Casey Braxton took to social media and broke her silence on the current legal troubles of her boyfriend. Earlier this month, new information about the domestic violence case of Hayes prompted a new bout of investigation, which put the athlete in yet another episode of legal challenge and public scrutiny.
Unfortunately, this renewed issue did not spare Haye’s current girlfriend, and the public attention apparently even extended to Braxton’s family, prompting her to break her silence and take it to social media.
“I want to take a moment to thank everyone for the incredible love and support I’ve received during this challenging time. Your kindness means the world!” Braxton wrote on an Instagram story.
“Being on the receiving end of negativity for something you have nothing to do with is incredibly frustrating. You have every right to stand your ground, protect your peace, and promote kindness in the midst of chaos.”

Apparently, a number of people thought it was her who was in the new video that surfaced online. It was Jaxson Hayes’s ex-girlfriend Sofia Jamora. Casey clarified this, and asked for privacy and respect from the public.
“I appreciate the love and the kindness, but that video is NOT ME. No need to follow or dm,” she added in her series of IG stories. “Please leave me and especially my family alone.”
Jaxson himself has yet to make a statement about this new progress in his domestic violence case.

Jaxson Hayes Case Reopened After New Video Surfaced
“There has already been an extensive investigation that we cooperated with the league on, and as that investigation reopens, we will continue to do so,” a spokesperson for Jaxson Hayes told ESPN.
“We understand that the NBA has a no-tolerance policy against domestic violence, and therefore the victim welcomes any further investigation into Hayes’ actions and will cooperate with said investigation,”
Hayes was a part of the New Orleans Pelicans when the incident happened. He has since moved to the Los Angeles Lakers and despite the then-controversial acquisition, the Lakers’ management believed that Hayes “took responsibility” for what happened and “is going to be a better person on the other side of it.
“We’re obviously aware that the investigation has been reopened, and we’re going to cooperate fully,” Lakers coach JJ Redick said in a statement. “But other than that, I’m not going to have another comment on that.”
Jaxson Hayes so far has averaged 5 points per game this season, 4 rebounds, and 15.7 minutes per game.
