The Los Angeles Clippers dropped to 3-7 after losing their fifth consecutive game last night against the Atlanta Hawks (105-102), and James Harden pointed to the team’s inconsistent rotation as the main reason behind their lackluster start.

Injuries to stars Kawhi Leonard (ankle) and Bradley Beal (hip) certainly haven’t helped. With both of them out of the lineup, James Harden has been playing heavy minutes recently, looking to carry the Los Angeles Clippers.
“We haven’t had any consistency, for real… We’ve had so many different lineups, so many guys in and out of the rotation. Guys are all over the place. Some guys haven’t played in ever. Some guys are just put in the rotation. Some guys are new here. It’s a lot that goes into it,” Harden said via SI’s Joey Linn.

“Our attention to detail has gotta be a little bit better… The difference between really good teams and teams that aren’t are attention to detail,” he added.
Los Angeles Clippers News: Ivica Zubac laments missed opportunities vs. Atlanta Hawks
The Los Angeles Clippers got off to a positive start yesterday by outscoring the Atlanta Hawks 29-19 in the first quarter. However, the Atlanta Hawks returned the favor in the second period (33-23) and eventually came away with a key road win.

“It was on us. The second quarter… It was just, we didnt get back in transition. We gave up good looks. Turned the ball over. I missed the easy ones,” Ivica Zubac said via Farbod Esnaashari. “We could have won all of these, we just keep doing the same mistakes every game. It’s not like that’ll magically change with Kawhi and Brad back.”
Zubac finished with 13 points, 12 rebounds, and two blocks on 6-for-10 shooting in 30 minutes. On the other hand, teammate James Harden tried his best by notching 35 points, 10 rebounds, 11 assists, two blocks, and six three-pointers on 12-for-23 shooting in 39 minutes in the losing effort.
