NBA players participating in boxing matches is a trend these days. Maybe fans can get one between heavyweights? Markieff Morris and his brother Marcus are up to that. Their target opponents? Nikola Jokic’s brothers who are just as big as them.
The twins, who are currently without an NBA team, renewed their beef with the Denver Nuggets star’s siblings that first surfaced in 2021 when Jokic pushed Markieff, then part of the Miami Heat, as a retaliation for his hard foul.
Markieff got injured and was out for four months for the push. Marcus tried to back his brother in a tweet and suggested that Jokic waited for Markieff to turn his back before making a move.
In Morris twins’ podcast, they declared that they will be able to beat the brothers Strahinja and Nemanja in a fight and that it will be a landslide after a fan brought up a hypothetical fight between them.

Nikola Jokic’s brothers are staying low
Strahinja and Nemanja are not ones to back down from physical altercation. They were even reprimanded by authorities in 2023 for punching a Los Angeles Lakers fan while in the stands during a playoff game.
When Marcus called out Nikola, they created an X account to tell him in a threatening way to leave the incident alone. The now-deleted account said:
“You should leave this the way it is instead of publicly threatening our brother! Your brother made a dirty play first. If you want to make a step further be sure we will be waiting for you !! Jokic Brothers.”
The fight between Morris twins and Jokic brothers will probably not happen anytime soon as Strahinja is currently in trouble with the authorities and under probation for that punch on the Lakers fan.
