NBA fans are reacting to Deni Avdija’s latest remarks about receiving plenty of hatred just because he hails from Israel. Avdija admonished his haters and basically said that anyone who does not understand the history of the Middle East region should refrain from commenting on the politics there. Fans obviously did not like these comments and took to the responses, trolling the Israeli player.
“You don’t have to love what I stand for or how I look, but if I’m a good player, give props. All this hate…for no reason. Like, I’m deciding things in the world. I’ll be honest: What do people expect me to do? This is my country, where I was born, where I grew up. I love my country; there are a lot of great things about my country. But obviously, not everyone is educated and knows what is going on, and that’s what pisses me off. Because if you are educated and know what is going on, it’s fine to say what you think and say who you think is right or wrong. But if you are not educated and you are not part of the Middle East, and you don’t understand how long this goes back and understand the consequences and everything…just don’t say anything.” Deni Avdija said.
Deni Avdija says he’s fed up with the hate he receives for being from Israel, calls out the lack of education on the topic, and demands respect, saying those outside the Middle East shouldn’t speak on it

“You are from Palestine. It begins with honesty and letting go of the resistance. You an all star tho keep hooping,” another fan derided.

NBA Fans Also Agree With Deni Avdija’s Comments About His Roots
Meanwhile, many other NBA fans seem to agree with Deni Avdija’s comments. These fans felt that Avdija was right in his words about only the uneducated people tending to hate on him, without knowing much about the various issues the region has had from long before.
“Everything he’s saying is facts btw, being hated cause he’s from a country everyone hates is so cringe, be proud where your from demon,” one fan stated.
“Good for Deni. Speaking straight facts. And from what I see in the comments, only uneducated Jew/Israel haters spewing historical inaccuracies and disagreeing with him.” another fan said.
“Jews around the world are incredibly proud of Deni Avdija. He’s a phenom. F*ck his haters who can’t stand to see people like him succeed. Let him keep cooking on the court!” one more fan remarked.

Despite all this, Avdija has already created a legacy of his own with the Trail Blazers. In the most recent matchup against the Kings, Avdija managed a total of thirty on the board as the lead scorer.
