NBA Fans knew all too well about Ja Morant’s celebrations on the court. However, on Sunday, X page @BrickCenter posted a clip, showing Morant catching Fans off guard with a new gesture, this time a bazooka. It wasn’t literal, of course, but it was enough to send Fans on social media buzzing.
Morant clearly made himself known to the NBA Fans in London. After swishing a three-pointer against the Orlando Magic’s Franz Wagner, the Memphis star didn’t hesitate to aim his imaginary bazooka at the Fans.
And of course, NBA Fans couldn’t help but throw some jabs at Morant’s antics. One user, @SnoopVonPoop, took the bazooka gesture to a whole new level, writing, “Trying to blow up his trade value.”

Meanwhile, user @oldskoolbballxcommented, “Ja has an unlimited arsenal,” while sharing a GTA meme with the “weapons” Morant has gestured at games.
“One good game and dudes pulling out guns again lmao,” one userwrote.
“That celly hits different,” one userremarked.
“Dude starting to come up with call of duty cellys I can’t lmfao [laugh emoji],” one usercommented.
“What’s next flame thrower?” one userwrote.
And of course, this wasn’t the first time NBA Fans saw Morant flexing his imaginary armada to everyone. Last season, he was, in fact, fined by the league multiple times for “aiming” guns at the players. Not Fans–players. And it didn’t end there. Months ago, Morant decided to get wittier with his celebrations, this time tossing a grenade after a three-point swish.
And whether NBA Fans like it or not, Morant has the catchiest celebrations of his generation.
NBA Fans skeptical about Ja Morant’s newest showcase
However, some NBA Fans, who of course still find Morant’s antics funny, raised concerns about his performance this season. Not just highlights, but ones that really give the Grizzlies the W. Fans clearly never forget how Morant is literally on the brink of being shipped away from his own team.

One user, @slimesouljas, had thought of this, writing, “Now imagine if he was good this year,” believing that the Grizzlies could be contenders if Morant had been consistent this season.
Meanwhile, the user @kingofthedeadBxclaimed, “There’s still plenty of time for him to turn this season around,” given that Memphis has still plenty of games before the All-Star break.
However, many NBA Fans still don’t buy that Morant can turn things around for the Grizzlies. While he continues to make Fans happy with his recent bazooka celebration, only time will tell if that could be his last at Memphis.
