NBA fans are shocked by Luka Doncic’s recent comment to a Jazz player while playing against the team earlier this week. Doncic, who famously played for the Mavs formerly and created a legacy in Dallas, can be heard telling his opponent that he gave his blood for his current team, the Lakers.

Despite his trade to LA being one of the most shocking moves in the history of the league, for not just Mavs fans but also Doncic himself, it looks like Doncic has made peace with it and actually gotten pretty comfy with the Lakers. Meanwhile, baller fans definitely feel bad for the Mavs fans who still hail Doncic as one of their own.

“’I gave my blood to this team’ – Luka Doncic” Fullcourtpass tweeted, sharing a video of Luka Doncic saying those words to his team.

“Cover your ears mavs fans lmao” one fan joked.

“I foresee all Mavs fans are still in denial mode, feel sorry them … (face with cold sweat emoji)” another fan echoed.

“Damn right luka every night (laughing with tears emoji x3) one more fan remarked.

Of course, it is not exactly clear as to what Luka Doncic actually said to the other player and it can only be speculated as such. Some fans did point this fact out with many expressing that his actual words may be nowhere close to the rumored statement.

On the other hand, many NBA fans are trolling Luka Doncic for his words about giving his blood. Some even hailed the player as someone who is trying too hard to fit in with the LA crowd by performing corny tricks like this.

“He’s accomplished nothing with the lakers so this makes zero sense” one fan boldly stated.

“The man’s a comedian!” one more fan mocked.

“He’s always looking for empathy” another fan accused Doncic.

Meanwhile, Luka Doncic has been pretty well-set with the Lakers after arriving in the team. While Doncic has stunned in LA, his trade counterpart, Anthony Davis, has been struggling ever since he stepped foot into the Mavs court. In fact, the Mavs as a whole have been having a shoddy time ever since this current season kicked off.

Dallas fans themselves have been expressing disappointment with Doncic not playing with the team anymore. The situation has become all the more painful with the drama that their franchise has been going through and the sad state of their players.
