NBA fans are having hilarious reactions to NBA Centel sharing a video clip of Lakers fans singing ‘You Are My Sunshine’ to LeBron James on his birthday. James’ fans have always been associated with this particular song, as a joke, but managed to pay tribute to their icon through the same.
James turned another year older on December 30th, with the legend being 41 years old right now. While the player has indeed gotten slightly slower over the years, he still has the same pizazz on the court. However, with his age increasing year after year, many fans feel that his retirement is right around the corner. To this particular tweet, many fans felt that James did not deserve the tribute and that many other icons should have had tributes by fans as such.

“He has been anything but since his return unfortunately,” one more fan pointed out LeBron James’ shockingly bad numbers this season.

NBA Fans Continue To Troll Laker Fans For LeBron James’ Tribute
More and more NBA fans are jumping on board to criticize Lakers fans for choosing to hail a player who’s not been performing up to his mark over the last couple of years. Many others feel that the fan following that James has is too much for the legacy that he has created over his time on the court.
“Lakers are a trash team. They need the refs to blow the whistles to win. They fall and flop and act to win. Won’t help them win the game or a title. The Lakers are terrible and sorry,” one fan said.

It looks like many basketball fans are already considering the Lakers to not be LeBron James’ team anymore. With Luka Doncic’s arrival in LA, more and more fans are siding with the Slovenian and ignoring James.
