The Phoenix Suns are moving like a freight train, knocking almost everyone on their way. They are doing this while they are still without Jalen Green who is supposed to be their second offensive option. What will the offense look with him around? Dillon Brooks says the second unit will only get better.

Green, who alongside Brooks was traded to the Suns by the Houston Rockets for Kevin Durant, played just one full game this season and it is considered one of the best opening games by a player with a new team. He debuted for the Suns with 29 points and led them to a dominant win over the Los Angeles Clippers.

Problem was he got injured in the next game early in the first quarter.
Brooks is excited for his return and he placed him in the second unit.

“Scoring on that 2nd unit when you’re the first sub coming out and going right back in. He’s going to give a lot of scoring on that unit,” Brooks told Duane Rankin of AZ Central.
“The way he can attack the rim and then make plays for others is going to be another thing as well. Whenever he gets back, I think he’s going to be a big spark for us.”
Green will join Phoenix Suns’ road trip
Head coach Jordan Ott does not explicitly say if Green is already joining their scrimmages. What he gave fans is just as good of a news. The guard will join them on their six-game road trip alongside another guard.
“That’s the plan.”

Ott also refused to say if Green will start right away or will be a sixth man saying his health is more important than that.
“We’re so far away from that. He’s been out for multiple months,” he said before their game against the New York Knicks last Friday.
“There’s obviously going to be some type of target range or number that we try to get him to. He’ll definitely be in the starting lineup as soon as he gets back and ready to go.”
