The Utah Jazz notched a 152-128 win against the Indiana Pacers yesterday, as eight different players had double-digit points. One of them was Ace Bailey, who finished with 20 points, four rebounds, and four three-pointers on 7-for-13 shooting from the field in 26 minutes.

Bailey scored 17 of his 20 points in the first half, which helped set the tone in the victory. After the game, the Utah Jazz rookie guard drew praise for his resilience and willingness to learn.
“He get keeps getting better, keeps asking questions in the locker room, and he wants to get better,” Lauri Markkanen said on Bailey via Sarah Todd of Deseret News. “He works on his game a lot. He watches a lot of film, and that doesn’t go unnoticed. So, obviously he’s still young, and he’ll make some mistakes, but we see the talent that he has and the work ethic, so it’s all there.”

“I was very excited,” Bailey said during the team’s recent game vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves via Eric Spyropoulos of Jazz.com. “It was a mission accomplished, to be a starter in the NBA. I’ll remember my name being called… I’ll never forget it.”
“I think Ace is steadily improving,” head coach Will Hardy said. “I really do. I just love the fact that he’s competing really hard, I think he’s a great teammate, and he’s showing the ability to really learn quickly.”
