WNBA fans everywhere are reacting to an old video of Caitlin Clark playing with a kid going viral once more. Clark can be seen picking up the kid and even holding him upside-down at one point, leading fans to put out hilarious reactions.

While some are joking around that Clark was simply playing with the child and not hurting them, others are calling out the Fever legend for being so rough with a kid. The video seems to be from earlier last year, during a Fever pregame.

“she’s just flinging his a** around omg (relieved face emoji)” juliethardt tweeted, sharing the video.

“She isn’t doing anything wrong, and the kid is enjoying it.” one fan pointed out.

“Just like Mike Tyson with Hasbulla (rolling on the floor laughing emoji x3)” another fan joked.

“Kid’s living his best life rn (laughing with tears emoji)” one more fan stated.

The kid actually seems to be having plenty of fun being rough-housed by none other than Caitlin Clark. Clark then goes on to lock him in her lap with the kid smirking and trying to escape, making viewers go,”awwww!”

WNBA Fans Criticize Caitlin Clark For Being Too Rough With The Kid

On the other side, there were many fans who condemned Caitlin Clark for playing too roughly with the kid. Some even felt that Clark was given too much attention, despite not having played much in the most recent season.

“ridiculous, they provide her non stop media coverage and she has not even played a full WNBA season yet and has not won anything. Best marketing trick bag ever. What a grift.” One fan remarked.

“Wooooow. She would not be treating the kid like that if he was white,” another fan brought a racial angle to the argument.

“Caitlin’s handles are getting out of hand lol. Kid’s literally flying.” Another fan joked.

Nevertheless, the kid seems to be loving every moment of this and it is still not known as to what prompted the clip going viral again.  Clark had a brilliant finish to 2025, with her Nike ad dropping on Christmas Day in Times Square. In a recent interview, Clark admitted that she has worked closely with the brand to design something unique in terms of her shoe and wants to spread the technology throughout the sole and not restrict it to the heel alone.
