Angel Reese once again found herself at the center of the conversation among WNBA fans, this time for what she posted online after her Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show debut.
The Chi-Town Barbie went on X Wednesday with a short message that pretty much summed up her mood these days.

“living the soft life>>>>,” wrote Reese.

She seemed relaxed and unbothered, but WNBA fans didn’t hold back in the replies.
One fan said, “Soft life make soft people.”
Another commented, “We know you’re soft, that’s why you quit on your team 2 years in a row.”
A third added, “Then don’t complain about your popularity, race, people “sexualizing you”, your rent, and salary if you’re living life on soft mode (You’ve done this all).”
For all the noise online, Reese doesn’t seem fazed. The Chicago Sky might’ve struggled this season, yet her year has been nothing short of eventful. She dropped her first signature shoe, then made history with Olympian Sunisa Lee as the first pro athletes to walk the Victoria’s Secret runway—something no WNBA fan saw coming a year ago.
“Queens Move Different”: WNBA Fans Praise Angel Reese and Sunisa Lee
Not every reaction was negative. Plenty of WNBA fans showed love after Reese’s backstage photo with Lee made the rounds online.

One fan said, “Sports girls taking over the runway too? 🔥 queens move different.”
Another wrote, “Two different flavours of beautiful.”
A third added, “A duo I didn’t know I needed to see.”
The moment captured two standout athletes stepping into a new lane—something fans couldn’t help but celebrate. For WNBA fans, it was a reminder that the league’s stars can shine far beyond the court.

Reese has faced criticism before, but if her latest post says anything, it’s that she’s staying true to her vibe. The “soft life” suits her—and WNBA fans can’t stop watching.
