“Phee Needs To Take CC Out Of Her Mouth”: WNBA Fans Irked With Napheesa Collier Mentioning Caitlin Clark Earns 0% From The League’s Revenue

WNBA fans are trolling Napheesa Collier after the Minnesota Lynx player seemed to make an unintelligent comment in a recent interview.  Collier has been pushing for better contracts for WNBA players for quite some time now and is definitely not backing out of her fight any time soon.

In justifying players’ rights to more money, Collier made an example of Caitlin Clark, who the Fever legend has brought millions to the league but has not seen a single cent of this in her own bank account. While Phee’s remarks come with good intentions, fans were quick to point out that this is not how the system works. Others felt that the player was only using Clark to make more money, and that she really does not support CC as a player.

“The amount of money that Caitlin Clark has made the league is insane, and she’s getting 0% of it.”

Phee spoke on the need for WNBA revenue sharing when asked about current CBA negations.

“Phee needs to take CC out of her mouth. All these wnba chicks tried to end her career and have treated her like sh*t for 2 years, now they realized she’s the only chip they have when it comes to revenue generation. If there is a deal signed, zero of them will be thankful.” one fan called out Napheesa Collier.

“When did Phee start worrying about Caitlin? She sure had nothing to say when Clark was getting targeted and mugged by jealous players during her rookie season and this past one. Using Caitlin’s name for clout when you really don’t care is pathetic and embarrassing.” Another fan said.

“This nefarious phee woman is not to be trusted. If you care so much why is the PA only asking to increase rookies from 76 to 150 but the vet mim is no 300k. @TheWNBPA doesn’t care about cc or the rookies.” Another fan tore into Collier.

WNBA Fans Rip Napheesa Collier Apart For Dumb Remark

Meanwhile, WNBA fans criticized Napheesa Collier for her thoughts on revenue sharing, as they are impractical and clearly do not align with how the league operates. Despite Caitlin Clark and many other players bringing plenty of viewership to the league, this does not mean that they will be paid more.

“How? Didn’t ESPN just debunked that theory? Clark only plays for one team and yet the team she plays from experience around the same spike in viewership as all the rest of the team and that’s even she plays. Make it make sense.” One fan explained.

“She’s in her rookie contract? Don’t all the NBA greats, NFL, players go through this? another fan chimed in.

“Clark has made the league $0.00. They don’t turn a profit.” One more fan said.

WNBA players have been demanding more money from the league, but the negotiations have not been fruitful as of yet. Players like Phee have been incessantly asking for this, especially since their NBA counterparts make multiple times more than them.
