Anthony Edwards has been an All-Star in the last three years but the Minnesota Timberwolves star is yet to get a starting spot. He has his best chance this year. Unfortunately, he did not get it.

His teammates Julius Randle and Bones Hyland thought it is a travesty.

Ant-man went off for 55 points against the Spurs on Sunday although the Wolves lost. He has at least 17 games with more than 30 points.

The Western Conference 2026 All-Star Game starters are Luka Doncic (Los Angeles Lakers), Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Oklahoma City Thunder), Stephen Curry (Golden State Warriors), Nikola Jokic (Denver Nuggets), and Victor Wembanyama (San Antonio Spurs).
Edwards is an All-Star from 2023 to 2025.
Anthony Edwards vote break down
Edwards actually has the same weight average vote with Wembanyama. However, the French star has more fan vote, 1,965,462 against the Minnesota star’s 1,960,957.
He is also more popular among active players. He is ranked higher than two of the selected starters with 110 votes. Wemby and Doncic received 85 and 95, respectively.

The media is on his side, too, as he got the fifth most vote, 72 against Curry’s 33.
Although not a starter, Edwards is expected to be named to the reserves, which will be selected through coaches’ vote. Reserves for both conference will be on February 1.
