The Brooklyn Nets improved to 5-16 after recording their first winning streak of the 2025-26 NBA campaign, with a 113-103 road victory over the struggling Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night.

No one could be happier than Michael Porter Jr., who was lights out on the offensive end, having notched 33 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, two steals, and five three-pointers on 10-for-20 shooting from the field in 34 minutes. Noah Clowney, Nic Claxton, and Egor Demin added 20, 14, and 10 points, respectively.
“We’ve got a winning streak!” Porter told Brian Lewis of the New York Post. “We’re getting better, starting to learn how to play with each other.”

“We’re starting to get some continuity, to get some sets we can get into quick when things get rough. That’s what was missing early on,” he continued. “At first (Wednesday) was a defensive slugfest; then we started to hit some shots.”
Brooklyn Nets News: Danny Wolf relishes playing in front loved ones vs. Chicago Bulls
Last night was a homecoming of sorts for Brooklyn Nets rookie, Danny Wolf, who is from nearby Glencoe, Illinois and played at Lake Forest Academy. The 21-year-old chipped in eight points, four rebounds, and three assists on 3-for-5 shooting in 25 minutes off the bench.

“Super cool, obviously. I heard the support and saw a lot of family and friends. The biggest thing that mattered was the win, and that’s what we were able to do,” Wolf stated.
“Obviously, it’s a dream come true to play at this level and to be able to play in front of family and friends… It’s pretty cool. It’s a special feeling,” he added.
